Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ asked Lincoln A. Mitchell:

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Lincoln A. Mitchell The idea for my new book on the Giants and the Dodgers and the impact their move west had on MLB came from many years of being a baseball fan in both California and New York. I have long been struck by how New Yorkers still view these franchise relocations as having been unequivocal tragedies and have not seen the longer term positive impact the moves had on the game. Similarly, as a young fan in California, I was exposed to the ambiguity that older fans held towards the Giants and Dodgers when they first moved west. I sought to address this and tell the larger story of the the two teams over the last sixty years in this book.
