Thanks Allison. Great answers. It also sounds like you don't stand still for very long. The best with both your legal profession and your writing. Did you know that Amazon and KDP (Kindle) have come together and that Kindle is now promoting books? Did you know that Kindle is reviewing books in which they have a financial interest? Don't you think that's a little unfair to both authors and readers?

Thanks for your kind wishes! Re: your questions, I did! I do! But that's always been the trade off going indie. Do you want control of your story, instant gratification, and more of the proceeds? Or do you want the brand recognition and maybe a bit of an engine behind you for pushing you in front of eyes? I think it's all very much in flux right now, and I'm sure it will shift again in the near future.

Since we are in the same book group I thought I would come to you for advice pretty one. I wrote the first few sentences of my new romance novel how to date a dragon. I hope you are able to give me feedback. Women supporting women? Twas a dark and stormy night and I was about in the hood. This guy came up to me and he had a dragon on his shirt. He said hey lil mama. I said you are one fine dragon.
