Why do struggle to finish this novel? This is the third time I have stalled out more than half way through. I just can't seem to care about this family...tell me: should I tough it out?

Beautiful language in both, but that one has a straight-line story and the same great writing style. To anyone who thinks I need to read it, I say, life's too short to force yourself to read something this long.(less)
