Why do struggle to finish this novel? This is the third time I have stalled out more than half way through. I just can't seem to care about this family...tell me: should I tough it out?

I think that this sensation happens beca…mǰWhen I was reading it I felt the same way you describe but then I realised that this isn't an ordinary novel. I think that this sensation happens because this book doesn't follow a traditional narrative structure with an antagonist or an achievement at the end of the novel. This books only tells the story of time, the story of a family through ages but you can't expect an achievement at the end of it. It's like life, a long story made of little stories. (less)
