0. This is easily one of the worst books I have ever read. I don't know if I missed some crucial point to the book or just completely misunderstood the book, but I hated the characters so much.

0. I went to college around the same time as the two main characters, in the same city, and could not identify with them at all. If you think you are better than everyone else because of your intelligence; opportunities given to you; and the fact that you are allegedly a unique, misunderstood individual, maybe you will identify with it more and enjoy it.

I thought it was brilliant. Those who found it primarily depressing might be picking up the mood of a character; similarly those who found it upsetting picked up the mood of anxiety of the character. The book was that well written that the music of moods expressed became the reader,s mood as well.

I have to give it a 10 but only because I can't go higher. It is very layered and once you get past the initial story of this happened and then that happened you will find a whole world of economic, social and political upheaval. The more I think about it the more I discover. It will require at least one re-reading but I will probably re-read it several times. If you have studied literature and can deconstruct texts you will get more out of it.

Eight. Just read it. It won't take long but it's great

5. I enjoyed the premise but found it extremely puzzling that two (supposedly intelligent) young people created so much chaos between themselves. Worth a read.. but perhaps aimed at the younger reader who's still struggling to gain a sense of themselves. Left me disappointed overall
Miaah Mentality
zerrroooooo. This book is a long dragg on story with no conclusion and romanticizes abusive and mental issues with no real help!
Hanna
A 10. It seems that you will either love this book or not, but it won't hurt to try.

I say a 8 or 9. I deeply loved this book and I think everyone should experience the joy of reading it at least once in their lifetime.
