If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?

I wrote a book called Silk Road, about the journey from Damascus to ancient Shang-tu (known in the west as Xanadu) in the 13th century. I would like to take the journey my character, Josseran, made. It took him nine months, in the footsteps of Marco Polo. I think that would be the greatest adventure of them all.

Yes! enjoyed Silk Road very much. Reading, "Aztec", now, which has changed my thinking. I had not read about this period before. I think you have covered most major history points except the Mongol invasion and Vikings? Just love your books. Few happy endings in history but you write great meat and potato books.
