Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ asked Kaylin R. Boyd:

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kaylin R. Boyd I was leaving Baton Rouge for the last time with my life packed up in the bed of my truck and my dog asleep in the seat next to me when I saw a man walking up Interstate 55 at around 3 am. There wasn't an exit for miles. He didn't have a back pack. He wasn't hitchhiking, and I wondered, "What the hell is he doing?"
I crashed at my grandmother's house in Herrin, IL at 7am. I woke up around noon and started writing about him.
I crammed into that book everything I was ever told I needed to write about someday. It took me four years to write it. One year to edit it, and I published it in 2018
