Jack R. Ernest:
I recently finished reading all of your non-fiction books , now my question is in Remarks on Existential Sociology, you mention Jordan Peterson, but isn't his message (as a whole) totally opposed to your books? also, are you through your books laying out the blueprint of the Overman (Nietzsche)?
Jack R. Ernest
Hi Joseph
That is correct. Jordan Peterson would be more right leaning, whilst i would be more left leaning. However there are some things i would concur with him on. But generally, overall, our philosophies would be like oil and water. He asserts the reason one is not happy is because they are not married with the family unit. In contrast, i would assert that people are not happy because they are married with the family unit.
But other things i would agree with him on. I recall him remarking that marriage is not designed to make one happy, but to make one have children, which i agree with. But in general, like you attest, our philosophies would clash.
Regards, Nietzsche and the Overman, i must confess i my knowledge is limited in that regard. My books would be more influenced by existential psychologists such as Rollo May and Irvin Yalom. My books are also more directed towards sociology and social psychology, rather than philosophy.
Hope this helps and thanks for the reviews.
