Vivian Ohh, I feel ya'... Why not burn the pieces and pour concrete on top, just to be safe? Not to mention the rest etc... Very good points.
Shelley Did he have considerable wealth though? There is a bit which says all the men had to take out lines of credit on their 'shares' to continue expanding the business - so he does to them what he did to Miss Mary's Dad. Leads them along a false path and then leaves a mess behind.

All the men were investing in him and the housing project waiting for it to pay off.
Galina Apart from the possibility of a sequel, I believe it is a good touch that they were not able to completely "end" James Harris. After all, they are just women who have faced this vampire phenomenon for the first time, they are not superheroes or superscientists etc. They were already lucky to think about a way to stop him for a certain period of time - apparently no one before has done it with him. It would be very unrealistic (if I can use this word when talking about a horror :-)), if they were also able to end him for good, and they simply have not had much time to develop and test various methods etc.

Elena I came to the questions/comments for this specifically. What is up with his bank account and the "parts" still moving around?
Jamie They cremated his parts and buried them in two spots.
