why are people saying Outlander is a rape book?

Thus they thought it was justified to rape/sexually assault women, also if the women tried to speak out or try to defend herself she would be counted as "unladylike" and whipped for her "bad" behavior. While this is a theme in the book (I mean female oppression) it isn't enough for the whole book to be justified as a "rape book" (less)
