Amy asked:

Super nitpicky, but was anyone else bothered by the book’s cover photo not matching the motel description in the book? In the book the Sun Down is described multiple times as an L-shaped two story building on an empty road with a blue and yellow sign out front displaying “cable TV which does not match the cover photo at all.

Rhys Yes, it actually bothered me too! I was disappointed that those rich details outlined in the book weren't important enough to get the cover art right. It may seem nitpicky, but the motel is essentially one of the biggest characters in the book, so the cover art should've represented it accurately!
Crystal Fricks Yes! That really bothered me, too. I know it ultimately has nothing to do with the storyline, but, still...
Mari I even pointed it out to someone when I said what I was reading. Such a strange thing to do when the setting is so important
Amy Quinn I wondered about this as well, but while studying the cover thought maybe it was meant to look like a color reversed photograph. I'm forgetting what that editing feature is called, but when the colors of a photograph are edited a certain way they appear opposite of what they actually are.
