I am always up for a really good series, as I'm sure this one is. The Movie version of The Relic is one of my favorite movies, of which I watch again and again.. Will reading the book ruin the movie for me?

If you liked the movie, you will definitely like the book. I watched the movie as a kid and I loved the book and the characters in it. =)

If you are just reading the book now after seeing the movie, you are going to be looking at the movie with different eyes--like paying more attention to the scenes in the museum areas plus looking at the creature with a bit more attention.

I honestly don't think reading the book will ruin the movie. Like most adaptations there are some glaring differences but the key points are the same. I just finished reading the book and watching the movie in 2021 and have to say that I love them both
