If you're asking why I write, I think it's the same as everyone else--I have an idea in my head that isn't anything I've read elsewhere, so I want to tell myself the story, and then hey, there's a whole story, if anyone else wants it.
If you're asking what makes me decide on a story to write, it's the thing that's shiniest in my brain at the moment, that has all the pieces I need to get the shiny part right.

The critiques of the "Star/Top Readers" carry weight here, yet I have encountered an unwillingness on the part of some of them to provide feedback. A couple read my first novel and gave it a single star. I have no problem with their rating, if they didn't like the book, they didn't like it. But when I reached out to them to ask why, they ignored me. How can we fix that?
