Did you ever get to meet Marion Colthorpe? She wrote Elizabethan Court Day by Day and I was perusing year 1987, the year of your book 5. Marion died in 2021. How did you come by discovering her Day by Day research papers?

No, I never met Marion Colthorpe - but I'm very, very grateful to her for Day by Day. I came across her work on the Folgerpedia website while researching my second Tom Walsingham Mystery: such a wealth of information, often just the kind of detail that will make a scene, a location or a character come alive... So I've been gratefully using her work ever since.
