Vitor Luiz asked Rick Riordan:

Kind of a specially nerdy question, but in Greek and Roman mythology the Morning Star and the Evening Star (Eosphorus and Hesperus) are sibling deities based on the brighter "Star" in the sky during dawn and dusk, later recognized as the planet Venus. As such, could Afrodite/Venus be a fatherly figure of demigods through those aspects, instead of always a motherly figure? Or would they be different gods alltogether?

Rick Riordan That's a very interesting question! I've never explored that idea, but your theory certainly makes sense. Well done!
