Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Rachael Slate My husband is Chinese (from Malaysia) and every year we throw a Chinese New Year party. I was intrigued by the mythology behind the Chinese Zodiac and inspired to write a book that blends worlds just like mine is blended :)
