This book is great. You should totally read it. I gave this book 5 stars. Victoria, That is not what the book is about. It is about true love, and vampires. Who else is one Edwards side? I love him. So hot.

I rated Twilight 5 stars. If you like love stories that aren't weird, you absolutely have to read it! I read all of the books in 4th and 5th grade and loved them! In my opinion you should read them!!

Twilight is decent, but the message it sends is really not good. All the book says is that you can't make it without a man. If you want a really good series, try Throne of Glass, the Harry Potter books, or Percy Jackson. They are my top rated, and they all have romance like this, though a much better and less shallow plot.

If you liked the movies there's a good chance you may end up loving the books. If your unsure if you want to own the series you can just borrow the books from the library and if you end up liking them you can always buy them. :)

You should honestly read them! Like, right now! They are amazing. Forget. The. one. star. reviews. I gave them five stars each. My favorite of the movies are Eclipse and Breaking Dawn Part 1 and 2. But, i read them first. Read them as fast as possible! You shall thank me later.

yes you should, Twilight is one of my favorite books and i feel that people are too hard. It does start off kinda slow but you should give it a try. It does pick up about 100 pages in though

Now I'm 21 and re-read the series again.
The books are not bad, but in my opinion they might be more interesting for teenagers, than for adults. Also for me, Meyer leaves to many plot holes open and she contradicts herself quite a lot of times.

The books are way better than the movies. I assume all the one star reviews are probably from people who don't like the story like the person above who basically stated they don't have a good purpose. If you enjoy the movies then you will enjoy the book. Stephanie Meyer is very well written and she is very good at character development even if people don't necessarily like the characters he provides.

If you enjoyed the awful movies, you're gonna LOVE these books! They're seriously 10000x better than those waste of cinema budgets, and in my opinion, do not deserve the harsh critiques that everyone deems 'cool' to give. This is a very good, unique love story. Give it a try.
