Melissa Marr I think you mean this as in I've read it & wished I'd written it, but if I'm misunderstanding pls let me know! I don't think I have. I read book that I obviously adore, and a rare few that I re-read, but mostly I think books are what they are bc of the person writing them. If you gave a bunch of authors the same topic, they'd create different things with it. It's sort of like the idea of being another person or changing something in the past or giving advice to a younger version of my self. I like the life I have, so I wouldn't want to wear anyone else's life or advise younger-me . . . or write anyone else's book :)
