Just write. Come rain or come shine, just write. I also believe in Natalie Goldberg's writing practice, in which for ten minutes a day, you write on whatever subject you fancy at the time. Incredible what sometimes emerges from that. Really powerful. But the main thing is to write and write and write. And to read as much as you can, as well.
