What on earth inspired your anti-hero in BITE HARD? This book is the most fun read I've had since…maybe Fool. Any movie/TV deals on the horizon?

Anonymous-9 Hi Chris, That's a helluva comparison to Christopher Moore. Thank you! It was one of those things where Dean's voice came loud and clear in my head, so I sat down and let the voice write itself. It started as a short story and I guess I just got quiet enough and alone enough to get in touch with that part of myself. Sensory deprivation is helpful when I write. I guess before the voice came, I wanted to get across the idea that no matter how weak your body is, a strong mind is the ultimate weapon. I also really like seeing bad people get punished, so I devised a man who had reason enough to get away with it.

Regarding movie and TV, if you know any producers, there is a lean, mean, and much-polished film script available for option/sale. Just message me. I also don't have an agent, so all the marketing for the film stuff is on me at present.

Thanks for asking. Chris!
