How long did you research to write "Yellow Crocus"? What types of information did you gather? Thank you.

Hello. Thanks for your question. It took me about 3 years to get a really good draft. Then there was a fair amount of editing after that. Most of my research was via internet. I also ordered books with recipes, songs, and pictures of plantations along the James River. I looked at census records, newspapers, images of plantations, and legal documents.

I was very pleased to find "Yellow Crocus" in Audible. Since my stroke a few years ago, I find reading print to be excruciatingly slow. I hope that "Living Right" will soon be released in Audible. Which brings me to my question. Would you ever consider writing a novel about a person with a disability?
