Yes, same book. I first experienced this book as a book on tape, read by Bryson himself. It was just fantastic. I liked it so much I wanted to go through it all as a book as well. I would say that it's still my favorite travel book by Bryson. You learn so much about this unique country's history, geology, politics, and natural history; and yet it's so much fun to read. Reading this book inspired me to write my own travel book.
