You provide writers with a whole lot of writing advice via your blog and books. Do you think there is any risk in pulling back the curtain on your writing processes? Is there anything to the "7 book sagas instantly pop into my head fully formed" mystique that some writers cultivate?

There's zero risk because the people who are "just readers" will never go to my blog. The people that go to my blog are fans or are other writers, and this stuff is useful to them. My writing advice milkshake has brought a lot of readers to the yard. Way more than if I had been quiet the whole time.

You are very prolific. What is your daily writing habit? Do you try to hit a daily word count? Do you prioritize, say, the current novel you’re working on over finishing a new blog entry? It feels as you take a very blue collar work ethic approach to writing, which I admire quite a bit, but are you worried about burning yourself out?
