So, why does everyone hate this book? I think it is amazing so far and I am prepared to read the other 3 books on the quartet. So, what, it is nearly nothing like the musical we know and love. But that does not make this book bad.

Rod I agree with you Abby. The book is not at all like the play. It isnÂ´t for children. I also enjoy the book a lot. It isnÂ´t easy to read, a lot you haveâ€¦m´Ç°ù±ðI agree with you Abby. It isnÂ´t easy to read, a lot you have to figure out on your own, but the character development is slow, but thatÂ´s o.k. I find it very interesting to figure out the motivations of the characters. It doesnÂ´t spoon feed you their motivations. I guess people hate it cuz it doesnÂ´t do the work for them. Their conversations donÂ´t always flow, which I would suppose is more realistic to our own conversations with people.(less)
