Hey Scott, have you read much from authors in the current missional/discipleship/church multiplication movement (Soma, Exponential, Verge, etc.)? I have been following it for a few years now, and see hints that coaching in a calling-focused discipleship beginning to emerge every so slightly. I am intrigued with the idea that a new widespread multiplication movement could be joined with an inside-out coaching.

Some of my good friends have planted missional churches and one has even written a book about church multiplication/discipleship (Paul D Watson). So I have read some, but I wouldn't say I've read tons. I'm probably stronger in terms of seeing it in action than reading good books on it. In fact, I'd love recommendations. What have you read or heard about that's good in this area?
And I agree that coaching (the way I've been trained and now train others) not only aligns, but is a key method for successfully doing ministry in this movement.
