I found it to be the most practical day to day spiritual guide applicable to my daily life. I was abandoned at 4, grew up in Children's homes and was abused by staff was adopted by a NY Teacher and Social Worker who abused both my brother and I, we moved to Maine and I ran away at 15, and have been on my own ever since. The hardest agreement for me is to bot take things personally, as earlier events were done to me. I know logically that people don't do things because of me, but rather because of issues in their life. I work on this daily.
