This is the 5th of a 7-part Will Trent series, but there are 6 books in the Grant County series that precede it. If you read the Will Trent series first, you will see spoilers that you won't want to know for reading the Grant County series. All the books in both series are fantastic, so I'd recommend you start with Grant County's "Blindsighted", the 1st in that series.
