Between Romeo and Juliet and Othello, which play do you think was the most tragic? You guys can suggest another play if you want, I'd be interested to hear about it. (Well technically see about it but you get the idea.)
Jennifer Velez Definitely Othello. IMO, Romeo and Juliet isn't tragic-instead it's a story about 2 stupid teenagers. Othello on the other hand, was deceived by those…mǰDefinitely Othello. IMO, Romeo and Juliet isn't tragic-instead it's a story about 2 stupid teenagers. Othello on the other hand, was deceived by those he trusted, and was tricked into making decisions that he would not normally make.

*Side note-I also think The Scottish Play is extremely tragic-because the Scottish Lord would never have done what he did without th einfluence of the 3 witches. He was content at his station, and was put into a situation that he absolutely did not need to be in.(less)
