I have enjoyed ALL of your books and anxiously wait for each new one. I think that I learned the most from "On Gold Mountain" as it educated me so much about the Chinese-American experience!! My husband grew up in LA's Chinatown in the '50's and his family had a little diner there so it is possible that our families may have known each other. Any chance of a novel about LA Chinatown?

Lisa See For the first time in a long while, I remembered to look at Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ today.

What was the name of your husband's family's diner? Maybe we went there! We always used to go to a place we called "the little place." What if they're one and the same?

I did write a novel that takes place mostly in L.A. Chinatown. It's called Shanghai Girls.
