I'm not finished this book but I will finish. A friend I value lent it to me. I could see it was funny but it's not my kind of funny. It irritates me at times. But I study worldview conflicts is society and subcultures and I expect to find the wisdom of fiction that non-fiction never seems to be able to say and I am finding it. Does everyone who finished this book love the humour?

I'm a pastor, and I loved it. It was recommended to me by another pastor. I have used the Beatitudes scene in a sermon more than once.

I loved it. I'm nearly 60 and enjoyed every silly, juvenile and thought provoking sentence. It reminded me of the off kilter slightly irreverent humour of Monty Python 's Life of Brian. .
Stephanie
I certainly did.

Perhaps read the notes at the end. If you are an adherent of a religion, it might seem disrespectful, but I believe he treated a challenging subject with humor, love and respect.
