It is 2.5 POUNDS and has 1264 Pages so this bugger is HUGE/HEFTY but is softcover (paperback) so is easy to damage if traveling. personal note: I re-read my copy often so I had used self-laminating sheets on it's cover (done in my naive youth) to help protect and it is still with me.

Way too weighty for commute reading, IMO.
