i’m sorry i just cannot like this book. i know this book is meant to showcase what our world would be like if something like this were to happen, but i’m sorry i just cannot like this book. i know this book is meant to showcase what our world would be like if something like this were to happen, but it was absolutely disgusting and disturbing to read. gonna be honest i didn’t understand this book at all and i never will. there is so many plot holes and so many questions left unanswered and i absolutely hate that. i think the only part about i liked about this book was that the author had an unique way of describing everything. but besides the writing it’s self, i genuinely just hated the concept of the book but it’s also because i truly didn’t understand a single thing i read tbh.
i also think it’s because i don’t really like historical books. i’ve never been the biggest fan of school books or history books for that matter. also the lack of quotation marks i still don’t understand and i just didn’t get the concept of the book. sorry but i don’t recommend at all, mostly because it just wasn’t a book i would read in my free time and i didn’t connect to the plot or characters at all. i’ll give it 1.5 stars for the writing and round to 2 lol....more
