I loved the basic idea of the rakish hero masquerading as a nerdy vicar, but the lack of interaction between the hero and heroine made me uninterested in them. If you are a big fan of the rest of this series, I'm sure you would like the book because the supporting characters are a huge players in this one. One thing that disappointed me was the portrayal of Felicity as an unlikeable bossy busybody. I loved her character and her book, "Love Letters from a Duke", so I wanted to see her portrayed more positively. Overall not a bad book, I just wasn't interested in all the spying and mystery so I didn't finish....more

I thought that I would really enjoy this book with its Tarzan-style storyline. I felt like it was an explanation of the characters' feelings towards one another, without much to back up the feelings. I won't give it a rating, though, because I didn't finish it.
