I wanted to rate this higher but could not get over the amount of miscommunication in this.
I would have been able to bypass it if it was just mentioned, but the fact that the whole reason Teo and Nadia stopped talking was because of something they never bothered to talk about was infuriating.

My issue with this may be so different, however. I wanted Tea to truly pick herself and live her life with Kalen. I did not expect her to choose that ending tbh.
I am mad because Tea spent 3 books, choosing the "life" of others, and she always put herself in the back. Like, no!
Although this made the revelations more clearer, I was not okay with the way things ended.
Would I still recommend this series? Absolutely! Would I read this again? Maybe! But I just wish I could have loved the ending like most people have....more

I loved the messiness of the characters in this book.
However, I just could not fully get behind the pettiness and jealousy surrounding the characters when it came to their decisions and their supposed standing when it came to family and what matters most.
I just felt like it was contradicting AF!
Although I was never expecting a happy ending, I just wanted more development in understanding the hidden feelings between all MCs. I felt like the characters were more led by their negative emotions vs settling things.
I am curious about side characters, like Emiliamo's brothers and the Russians. Would I read any next books? Yes!...more

Even though I related to Spencer because of her non-existent relationship with her mother, that was as far as I liked her. With Grady, I wish that it was different from your typical small town book where the MMC is always falling hard for the FMC. Just wish it was laid out better tbh.
Otherwise, I did like the underlying happenings ... where certain characters finally realized certain things and made decisions based on it. So safe to say there is definitely growth for some characters.
Just like Grady, I fell in love with this small town place ...more

The twists and turns in this story had me turning the page to see what happened next. It was addicting!
I commended the FMC for her role in saving herself and those that needed saving. Sure had me thinking the worst for a minute.
The reason why this was not a full 5⭐️ was because it could have definitely been shorter, and the ending needed some work. I also could not get past the role one of the MCs played in this bizarre story!
I want to point out that the reason for my rating was also because it gave me nostalgic feelings about me being younger and watching movies on Lifetime. It was perfect!...more

The reason I loved this series was because it was so different from your typical paranormal romance [at least the ones I read, especially by the same author] ...
I just did not quite gravitate the MCs like I did in book 1 and 2.
Reading other books by the author, I feel like the storyline gravitated to those types of books, and it was high key annoying.
From the beginning of this one, I truly disliked the FMC, Lisane. She seriously pissed me off with her shift and the blame she failed to take responsibility for ... it was chalked up to her wanting to be a martyr. Not cool!
Rhaim is still zaddy, until he made himself a simp for Lisane. [If you know me, you know I hate that word "simp", it seriously makes me cringe] ... but Rhaim was no zaddy anymore but more of a huge puppy by the end. ...more

I loved this one because it showed 2 people that came together through loss and pain, but in the end? [Not gonna tell you!]
I just related so much to these characters, and I just love them! I also loved how we got to see the found family aspect in the group ... 1000x more than in book 1.

I kind of was surprised with this one ... in the beginning, it was kind of slow, and I honestly was hesitant considering it had that documentary/podcast feel to it.
After getting through the first few chapters, I was intrigued for sure.
I want to say that the author surprised me with those twists and turns ... I was not expecting that twist ... and looking back, some clues were there, yet it was still so well written in by the author.
That ending had me a little slumped tbh ... but i understand it is meant to leave room for interpretation....more

I have to say that this is my second book by the author, and I did not know what to expect. I will admit that this one was just as memorable as Hello Beautiful!
There is something intriguing to me about how small the world truly is ... to see it written the way it was in this book, just put it into a written perspective. And I was hooked!
I loved the timeline that skipped post 'event' and during the 'event'.
