This is the first book the kicks off the series, so Charlie Spring is the only openly gay student at Truham high and got bullied a lot for it before but it got better. A new year starts and in his new form sits next to “rugby king� Nick Nelson and Nick starts saying hi and being nice to him. They end up becoming “platonic best bros� (mwahhahahhahahahah that doesn’t last long) but Charlie develops a crush on Nick and Nick starts questioning his and Charlie’s relationship.
