but the world-building?? dreamy. the whole pawnshop concept, the glowing birds, the way choices could be taken and given - it was magical.

first of all, the insta-love?? i genuinely do not understand how you can be declaring eternal devotion to a man you met five days ago. like girl. breathe.
also the rhysand comparisons� xavier is apparently giving mysterious broody fae lord energy, and every time someone said it, i cringed. not every man with a jawline and a tragic past is rhysand and that’s okay.
don’t even get me started on “contemplative gaze.� if i had a dollar for every time it showed up, i’d have enough for a whole new bookshelf
