I am in a major book slump. For most of late 2022, I mostly focused on re-reads of favorites. I've been wondering if I just need to move away from the romance genre for a time. Enter book club, which forced me to read Station Eleven. I enjoy post-apocalyptic fiction, particularly stories that have some hope amidst the craziness and Station Eleven delivered in this regard. This book had so many delightful layers. So maybe it is time for me to mix it up a bit....more
