I first read this in elementary school, and didn't grasp it's importance to everything we recognize as America. Then again in high school, to put it mildly I had a terrible teacher. He was a baseball coach and thought that the perfect teaching style was to tell all students to shut up, sit down, ask no questions, and give the students a packet of worksheets to be turned in at the end of the week. *(All the while student aids graded the packets. He did no teaching, just collected a check!) I paid attention when I entered college for the second time, while taking PSC100 & HY102. My professors made the classes interesting, and I realized that there was strong passion from our Founding Fathers. Especially James Madison, and the story of the Constitutional Convention itself. If you are deciding to persue a degree or minor in Political Science, get to know the U.S. Constitution down to the letter. I would also recommend that you hunt down the Federalist Papers and the collected anti-Federalist papers which are arguments for and against the ratification of the Constitution. I also believe that the best amendments were 1st, 13th, & 19th; though like the Supreme Court I agree that it is a living document, yet argue it would be possile to now update to where the 3/5 compromise permanently excluded. I'm reading Walden: JUST PISS ON 2016! David Bowie, Alan Rickman, and now Carrie Fisher! Just go to hell 2016! 2018- My grandmother died; she was an Alzheimer's patient. 2019-Assigned reading for EH201 and the teacher didn't know what hit her. 2020- Carona Virus & George Floyd Riots. It's finally time for me to permanently move this away from my currently reading list but I also can't tell you how many times I have read this or the dates that I finished this. I will just open to a passage and read for however long I need. This is one of my go-to books when I fall into a horrible fit of depression. Try it out, it might help you; however, everyone is different so you might need to keep looking if it doesn't work.
T.S. Eliot, Dante, and Ralph W. Emerson also are other go-to's for me....more

Of course we start the volume off with Chapter 1: Uzumaki, Naruto. We are given a brief explanation of a monster nine-tailed demon fox attacking the village of Konoha(village Hidden in the Leaves). Then we are zoomed to present day events which shows our trouble making protagonist, Naruto. He has graffiti-ed the Hokage mountain that is a monument of the village leaders. As we continue to read we find out that Naruto isn't the model student, and that he doesn't have any parents due to the Nine-Tail's attack. Which in a convoluted way you could say that this is one of the perfect underdog mangas in many ways. Definitely a manga with stellar art. Cheers and Happy Readings!
Volume 2: This volume starts off with Chapter 8:That's why you're failures. Team 7 have made it to the middle of their genin exam. It seems tougher than they ever imagined. This Kakashi-sensei seems like a dangerous opponent. It's up to you to find out what happens in this exciting manga. Cheers and Happy Reading!
Volume 3: We start off with Chapter 18: Training Commences. Who ever would have thought that tree climbing could be considered training? I honestly fell in love with the explanation/theory of chakra. Just the possibilities that Masashi-san brought to the forefront of the what-ifs. Meanwhile later we discover the villains which is interesting to see played. Captivating scenes of determination await. Cheers and Happy Readings! ...more

Some not so great factGreat factors to this book: Denarians, Billy Goats Gruff, Mouse, Bob the Skull, Grimalkin, and Mab the Queen of Air and Darkness. Some not so great factors to this book: Harry has become excessively dark in this book. By this point in the series, things are really starting to become very convoluted. It's hard to work out some of the characters, and where their associations lie.
While this book starts off on a lighter note it then turns extremly dark very quickly.

I just can not stop reading it. For some strange reason I keep expecting Harry to have a pudding moment, you know like this...
For a good majority of the plot I was doing this...
To me I thought that most had established that Molly had the gift two books back when Harry squatted in the tree house. It was just ironing out the details of which parent was magically inclined. Other than that the book was golden.
Jim Butcher I swear you can not kill off Mouse! Him and Bob the skull are my favorite characters in this series, so just don't do it. Brilliant concept on the miniature Chicago, it reminded me so much of when I was a kid watching BeetleJuice.
