Mitch and Paige couldn't be more wrong for each other, I'm a huge fan of Shannon's Kowalski series, and this one is right up there with my favorites. Mitch and Paige couldn't be more wrong for each other, though they engage in some hot fun, both of them determined to walk away at the end of Mitch's home visit. But two people who are determined not to get involved couldn't be more right for each other. Engaging characters, a wonderful romance and a town filled with secondary characters you want to know more about. And of course, more Kowalskis you can't wait to read about. I loved this book. She has a smooth way of writing, and her characters--oh, her characters. How can you not love them? Amy has issues that make your heart clench and Matt--well, Matt is another to-die-for hero. It was gripping, suspenseful, with characters that grab you from the beginning and don't let go. Loved Brooks and Abigail had my heart from the very beginning. She was so hard to break down, but Brooks never once gave up her--the kind of hero we all love. I loved her quiet strength and determination, including her resolve to go it alone.
