Shopping and Fucking is the quintessential TA story: short, hot, with a huge focus on the BDSM theme, but still: so much more!
The BDSM is like it should be: it's not about the hard fucking, it's about the game. The build up. It's about the promise made, the voice in your ear and the shivers down your spine. And Toreth and Warrick have this down to an art.
But, as with everything with those men, nothing is at it seems. There are so many different layers to the story that even the simplest things—breakfast, a trivial conversation—can keep you on the edge of your seat. And with most things: it's not about what's being said, it's about what's not being said that's important.
So Shopping & Fucking was so much more than a (very well written) BDSM story. 4,5 stars ...more

This story shows us the much referred to hookup between Toreth and Sara. I must say: I liked this much more than I thought I would.
Normally I don't like girly bits in my m/m (and Manna was descriptive for once) but this little story was surprisingly sweet. And poignant.
'Love you.'
So that was what it sounded like when someone knew you, and they still meant it.

A new POV, little Warrick/Toreth time and very little Toreth POV made for that. Also: Toreth was definitely shown as a sociopath here. I'm still not sure how I feel about that.
ETA, I've been told it's the strength of The Administration. Like my friend Casey put it: (view spoiler)[But in TA, you get people banding around the expected, and the inevitable, but the actual character acts like a real person and doesn't fit all of the pretty little labels and boxes that have been laid out for him (hide spoiler)].

"Mine. Oh, God, yes. By the end of the evening, Warrick would have no doubts about who he belonged to."

Ain't that right! Families is another very enjoyable short. It's funny, it's hot, and it gives us more insight in our boys; their background, their drives and their urges.
As the intrigue ups a major notch, the romance plot (because really: it is romantic) is developing nicely. To me for now it's clear the boys are deluding themselves in thinking they're just in it for the fucks. Even if they dare not to elaborate on their thoughts in their internal monologues, actions speak louder than words- and hello: holiday weekend at one's family is practically the equivalent of picking out curtains together. And oh: I stand by my earlier point: Toreth is not a sociopath. He's self centered and on a constant mix of survival and hedonistic mode. But he's fun and caring and I like him a lot. ...more
