Given to Fly is the first book I have read by K.L. Montgomery but it definitely won't be my last. I thoroughly enjoyed the true to life story. Ms. Montgomery brings the characters to life and the my emotions swung from happy to sad, heartbreaking to routing for a happy ending. This book dealt with deep issues, infertility, being overweight, and infidelity.
Annelise is a young woman who has heard all her life that she should grow up, get married and have children. It was drummed into her that once married she should stay that way no matter how bad it gets. Annelise grows up, becomes a preschool teacher, and marries her colleges sweetheart, Aaron. When Annelise tries to start a family and is having infertility issues, Aaron tries to put her on a diet. Her marriage hit a rough patch, but it has been ingrained in her from a young age by family and faith she must stay married no matter what.
Trek Blue is a father of two children, one that is in Annelise’s kindergarten class. Trek has just moved to the area after the death of his wife. Trek asks Annelise to tutor his daughter. Trek is looking for a friend and Annelise fits the bill. Their relationship grows as the story continues. Will stay true to her marriage? Everyone keeps telling her everything will be better once she gets pregnant. Will she fight her family and faith and go with her heart?
I have to say, I almost didn't read this book after reading the first chapter. I was really upset at what Aaron said to his friend, but I really glad that I finished the book. It was inspirational and heartfelt even with the heartbreak. I look forward to reading more books by Ms. Montgomery.

The Wanderer by Dahlia Donovan is the first book in the Sin Bin Series and the first book I have read from this author. I LOVED this book! From the first page till the the last, I was fully engaged. I just couldn't put it down. I was laughing one minute and crying the next ( make sure you have plenty of tissues for this one). Ms. Donovan has spun such a great tale with emotional ups and downs.
Graham Hodson can't seem to stay in one place for very long and see no reason to get tied down to one place or one person. His job as a travel writer is perfect for him. He loves the adventures and exotic places he travels to. It keeps him unattached and continually wandering.
Boyce”BC� Brooks has just figured out that he has blown his chance at a future with the National Soccer Team because he has never grown up and taken anything seriously. When his uncle dies and leaves him a bed and breakfast in Cornwall, he decides it is time he grew up and take charge of his life.
Who knew snogging in a closet at their friend's wedding would keep BC and Graham (ginger spice) each of them thinking about each other after the fact. When Graham came to do a story about Cromwell the two had a chance to spend time together and BC found he liked it. Graham got spooked about his feeling for BC and snuck off to his next adventure to get away from these feelings, but it didn't work. When Graham falls ill and BC follows to take care of him, that's when thing start heating up. Will they be able to settle down with each other or will their insecurities tear them apart?
Although this story was heart wrenching at times, I wouldn't have missed it for one second. I can't wait to read other books by Dahlia Donovan. I highly recommend this book even if you are not into m/m romance because this is a true love story.

He is cold hearted and angsty, and makes it almost impossible for anyone to get close to him. He has had a hard life and was fed a bunch of lies that he based his life on, so when he finds out the truth he really doesn’t know how to deal with life. Arwyn has always felt something for Zeph, but refuses to commit to him until he starts to heal. The emotions Ms. Sparkman bring in this amazingly written book held my attention from beginning to end. This book had me rooting for Zeph to heal and find his true self. I highly recommend this book, series and author.

The love and heartache bleed of the pages and make you want to come back for more. This is a really fantastic book, especially since it is a debut. It does leave us with a cliffhanger but that just makes the anticipation of reading the next book in the series all the more appealing. I would highly recommend this book and author.

The connection these brothers have in the MC is very telling. Even though they are big bad bikers, they really have hearts of gold. Don’t get me wrong, they are still dangerous and take care of their own first and foremost. This story features Beast and Cathy and their son Ryder. I’ve said this before with this series, getting a glimpse of all the characters in the club in their own point of view is a big yes for me. Sometimes when you get multiple points of view the storylines get messy and hard to understand, but not this series. It just bring you closer to each of the characters. The imagination that goes into these stories is amazing. I love that in this series each book is based around one couple, but every one in or related to the club has a voice. This story is Bullet and Clementine’s. This book is a little shorter than the first but it is still packed with mystery and action. I read it in one sitting and was so enthralled. This author really knows how to tell a story. Francis (Stitch) is such an unusual character. I wasn’t sure were this story was going when I first started reading, but it blew me away by the time I reached the end. Francis and Grace are wonderful together, but Damien steal the story and my heart. This book is told from many different viewpoints and I really enjoyed getting everyone’s thoughts. This is the second book in the Titans of Manhattan series, and this book made this author a one click author for me. Anton and Elsa’s story has all the feels. I loved the first book in this series, but this book is even better. This power couple have a fairytale beginning, but cracks emerge that they may not be able to overcome. This amazing story had me reading long into the night, I just couldn’t put it down. I’m really looking forward to the rest of the book in this series. ...more
