Novels that fit into this category are about compassion and kindness but it’s not a matter of sugar-coating the world rather than meeting the darker sides of life and yet still reaching out a hand of kindness even when you have nothing else to give.
In a world when everyone has become so insular and just scroll through phones and tablets, these novels are a timely reminder that there’s a real human world out there and it’s still possible to get that warm feeling a sense of community can give you.
