It really ticked me off because I love retellings of beauty and the beast. This was truly terrible. I can usually stretch my imagination and meet the author half way in a novella, but honestly this time it felt like so much of a stretch I tore my hamstring. That’s an 8 month recovery for crying out loud. I don’t have time for that kind of rehab. Anyways, huge disappointment and now I’ll limp on to something that can only be better. ...more
