(and yes you can read that with your best southern twang because there's a reason why i devour the audiobooks of all of her series. there's something about that georgian accent that fascinates me and really immerses in her stories)
i usually like but am not blown away by her mysteries, and this was no exception. i did enjoy it because it allowed the story to explore the characters' stories and relationships more, and i really enjoyed that. i like faith and i love will trent, even when he's being stupid - and i love the way sara is integrating into the story, because she was one of my favorite grant county characters. i'm happy to keep reading like 2 of these a year and i'm honestly not looking forward to whenever i'm done with slaughter's back catalogue!...more
