The Children's Hour is a wonderful book for so many reasons:
� Compelling writing � Family secrets and hidden mysteries � True-to-life characters (that you wish you could meet in real life!) � Drama and joy � Realistic plot � Perfect ending
and, most of all, Mina! (my favorite character)

The characters just pull you in and make you feel like you’re actually part of the family. Penelope was my favorite character. I loved her passion, independence and common sense. I was annoyed and frustrated with most of the siblings in this book, except for possibly Olivia. But, that still didn’t stop me from loving the story all over again. A book that I will come back to (and listen to) over and over. I love Rosamunde Pilcher’s family sagas so much!...more
