I had forgotten how much I enjoy Poe. I'm not sure what first started me down the memory lane of Poe readings and recitations in high school, but I was thinking about that, and about The Simpson's Treehouse of Horror reading of Poe (which is great) and was like "hmm maybe I should do some reading and re-reading of him. So I did and he's still awesome. I mostly read the poems in this edition, since I picked up a different Poe collection of the short stories and I prefer the layout of that book, but wanted to read the poems. I'm still partial to the famous ones, but they're all wonderfully gothic and macabre. Also, I just love the rhythm of his poems. ...more
