This is a bit of a hard review for me. I listened to this as an audio and totally loved the narrator, Perdita Weeks. She hit it out of the park and had me mesmerized!
I was fascinated to learn about Circe, a witch from Greek Mythology who was one of the daughters of The Titan King Helios.
I was captivated with her story from the beginning but about half way through Circe was banished to an island. At this point the story lost me for a bit. It seemed to move quite slow but eventually picked up to a dramatic ending!
I was excited to hear that this book will be turned into an HBO tv series. I will be anticipating its start. I think it would make a fantastic tv show....more
