So I watched the first episode on the advice of my best friend and it turned out pretty great. But since I always intended on reading this book I decided to go just go ahead and actually read it and then finished it just today.

Although I did think the finale came on a bit quickly in comparison to the general progression of the entire series of books. It was just like "wow, okay that happened and they won" lol.
Peter Brett has definitely become one of my favorite fantasy authors from this series of books. I mean the whole premise is just amazing. It's traditional fantasy but coming at you from a totally different direction. ...more
