I might even say the preview didn’t do the book justice. Seafire is the first book in the Seafire Trilogy by Natalie C. Parker. In this book, you will come to know of the main character Cala. Cala is a captain of her own ship with her best friend Pisces who is next in line. They built their ship with their own two hands after Aric Athair fleet destroyed their families ship and killed every one of their family members leaving Cala and Pisces all alone on an island. They were left with two decisions stay on the island and risk getting caught and killed themselves or building a ship and sailing. They chose to build the ship and make a family for themselves with girls that also has lost their families, either by them being taken away or their families killed. Now there mission in life is to take down Aric Athair or at least try their best they can. So, they attack his ships and sink them, suffering casualties on the way. They honor and mourn those lives that were lost but the cheer in another of Athair ships being taken down. Now Cala ship has a boundary on themselves and everyone once to be on the good side with Athair so Cala and her crew has to fight for themselves. Overall, this book had many strengths, for example, it was very exciting. Something was always popping up making a new adventure or challenge. Keeping me, a reader, engaged. With that being said it, at times, it was chaotic and confusing because too many things were happening all at the same time. It tells a tale about a world that has split into two parts, the Eastern and Western State. They try to make sure everyone lives in one of the two so they can control them. You can live on the outside, where there isn't really much of anything. Faith Daniels is one of those who live on the outside all alone while her parents do their job as drifters who just watch the area for anything suspicious. My initial thought on the book was that it kind of started off pretty slow. You could tell the author was just giving you information to start off the story so you could follow along with the plot and understand what was happening. As I was progressing through the book, it started to get a lot more action-packed. As Faith found out she could move stuff with her mind and also where her parents have been all the time. During the middle of the story, Faith also gets a few enemies, but also gained some new friends, like Hawk, who is a computer genius. At the very end, it has a lot of action that you'll have to read to find out. Overall, I think the book is a splendid book to read if you are a teenager and like an action-packed book because it also was very easy to follow along with and understand. The book, Quake, is an outstanding book to read. The author is Patrick Carman and the book is the third and last book in the pulse trilogy. It was a vThe book, Quake, is an outstanding book to read. The author is Patrick Carman and the book is the third and last book in the pulse trilogy. It was a very action-packed book that had twists and turns all the way to the end. Which always kept you on your toes waiting to read what will happen next. Something I found very interesting about the book was that the author includes in great detail what happened in the first two books which made it so you didn’t necessarily have to read the first two to understand what was going on in this book. In fact, I didn’t read the first two books in the trilogy and didn’t even realize it was a trilogy until close to the end of the book. The book, Quake, takes place in the year of 2051, where the United States is split off into two sections, the East and the West States. In this world, there are people born with what you call pulses. Faith and Dylan are third pulses which basically makes them indestructible and able to move mountains. They use their power to try to save the World from prison one and his two minions, Clara and Wade. Clara and Wade also have pulses, but every person who has a pulse has a weakness and there is nature. In conclusion, the Quake is a book that I would recommend to anyone and is sure to keep you always guessing as Faith and Dylan try to save their world as they know it.

At the high school she has to figure out what is hunting the school and making people have near death experiences. She also makes two new friends and join there ghost hunting club. Also before the mission her older sister came up missing so she has on her mind, where is her sister and what happened to her. Overall, its the type the book that always have you guessing whats next and keeping you on the tips of your toes and on the edge of your seat waiting to find out what will happen next. I would recommend reading the book if you are between the ages of 12 through 18 years because of how great the book was and how easily it was to understand. It wasn't the type of book where you do not know what is going on because there are so many twist and turn, it has a bunch of surprises but its not so much where you can not keep up with the plot. On the adventure they have to deal with crazy family members who try to kill them at every corner, clues and riddles that do not make sense, and discoveries about there past relatives. All because they want the deceased parents proud instead of the fortune that was left for them which was a total of one million dollars. The Maze of Bones was so good I can not wait to read what happens next in the series. Additionally, the best thing about the book is it is a good read for all ages because it has a little something for everyone. Also to make matters worse Zoey is not even normal compared to the other students at the House of Night. The book Marked is a very suspense filled book that keeps you on your toes at every turn and always wanting more. The author really gets you feeling emotional about the book because of the word phrases she uses. I loved this book so much I can not think of one thing I did not care for in this House of Night book because it was amazing. New Moon is the kind of book that will keep you guessing, I never knew what was coming next, but that was probably because Bella in unpredictable. Also it has a lot of Shakespeare references in it.
