This story was so so special and I loved it just as much as all the other books in this trilogy. I absolutely adored Wes & Bethany together. The way that they both interacted with Laura absolutely had my heart! Each of these stories have reached inside me and found something I've been dealing with myself and it is so good to see how someone else handles those issues also. I highly recommend if you are looking for an amazing contemporary adult romance with a great balance of adorable and spice....more

I really enjoyed Hannah's love for music and being able to listen to the song they were listening to at the same time as reading it. It was really atmospheric! I've never seen a story talk so much about how damaging toxic masculinity is for men and I was so glad to see Tessa represent this issue so well in this book. The romance was also perfection and I'm pretty sure everything Tessa Bailey writes is gold! I'm sad this duology has come to an end but both books will be favorites of mine forever! I can't wait to read whatever Tessa has in store for us next!...more

They deserved so much better.... Also I really wanted to see Thyon and Rhuza get together, but I'm glad that it seemed like it was leaning that way, I was suddenly shipping them hard at first mention that Rhuza thought Thyon was cute! This ghost business is tricky... She's basically still alive, but will she age with Lazlo? Like will she imagine it so it is so? And can they adopt a child someday so they can have a kid? These are things I want to know for my ships sake..... But I am really happy with the way this ended! I'm excited to see what comes next, because their must be a next!...more

But I just think that was because of her betrayals from the past. But I love how Sarah J. Maas just continues to make this world more and more intriguing! And seeing from all these different point of views is actually really cool! Sometimes in books it is annoying, but with this book, definitely not. And I love Dorian and Chaol and Nehemiah so much! I highly recommend this series! I'm sad that Dorian is sad right now because he likes Celaena way more than she likes him.... But *spoilers for future books starts now* I know she doesn't end up with him anyway so oh well... I hope he and Chaol will get someone great for them in the future!...more

I read Obsidian, Onyx, and Opal at the same time and sometimes things happened in one that didn't happen in the other and one time in each book it said that the POV was saying the same thing (I.e. Like if Katy said "Something" in her POV, when I switched to Daemon's POV Daemon said "Something" when it was suppose to be Katy saying it.....) it was amusing but so good even for the teeny mistakes! If you've read Obsidian, Onyx, and Opal, definitely read Oblivion (the ebook version so you can read all three in his POV!) The songs at the end were really cool and beautiful! Definitely worth the buy and I don't even like to buy ebook usually, I like buying the hardcover beauties to put on my shelf, so it's saying something that I actually bought this ebook! Armentrout is a queen at writing and I just love every book that I've read of hers! You should definitely pick this one up! SOOO GOOOD! *Spoilers* The ending murdered me. I needed the next book like yesterday. Ren is so amazing, LOVE him. Tink is so funny. I really liked Val until she ruined everything uggh.. I wonder how that happened. Anyway, I'm sure that Ren will still love and accept her when he finds out........ I hope.

I took a long time to read this book, partly because I've been busy, partly because I didn't want this trilogy that I love to end! All three books are amazing and I love Ivy, Ren, and Tink so much.... I always wish there was more resolution, especially with Tink, and wondering what things will happen with the Queen in the future... It seems like there should be a spin off that comes from this so that's what I'm hoping for!
Reread review: This took me longer to reread than the rest of the trilogy and again, it's honestly because I got crazy busy. I still agree with my past self about needing more resolution, and I'm still wondering if we are gonna get all of it with this spin-off, or if we will somehow get more in Ivy's POV? That would be nice :) I love all of these characters so much, I never want their stories to end!...more
